ISLAMABAD – The Intellectual Property Organization of Pakistan Chairman and Member National Assembly Hameed Ullah Jan Afridi has said that different programmes would be initiated in collaboration with Chamber of Commerce and SMEs to protect IP Rights in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He said this while talking to a delegation from Trade and Commerce sector of KPK. The Chairman said that awareness about Intellectual Property Rights is need of time and in this context, collective efforts should be taken to overcome the counterfeiting and piracy from the country.
Chairman informed that IPO-Pakistan has firm commitment to automate the entire service delivery on modern lines. He expressed his firm believe that we would leave no stone unturned in achieving the vision of IP based nation and Pakistan will very soon be recognised as a country where Intellectual Property is created, protected and respected with its required standards.  The delegation lauded the role of IPO-Pakistan and ensured all possible cooperation.
