LAHORE – The security of the trains has been enhanced after the firing incident on Jaffar Express on January 6 in which one frontier constabulary was murdered three Railway Police constables were injured.
Railways Police IG Syed Ibne Hussain issued directions to all SPs to ensure foolproof security of trains and vital installations and depute maximum staff on them. The PRP spokesman said a close liaison with districts police would also be maintained in this regard.
It had been stated that a maximum staff of the PRP and FC had already been deployed on Quetta section trains.
