PESHAWAR - Due to the poor management plan of traffic authorities, the VVIPs movement causes multiple traffic problems on the eve of special occasions like political gatherings and condolences of important personalities.
The main University Road remained blocked for public transport and heavy vehicles were not allowed to travel on University Road due to the arrival of high profile personalities to condole the death of Qazi Hussain Ahmad. The people who came from far-flung areas to attend hospital in Hayatabad and Sherpao were greatly suffered in traffic miseries.  The transporters had no other choice but to divert the traffic toward Kohat road and ring road where already construction work is continue. Huge rush of vehicle and traffic jam was observed on both Kohat road and ring road due to the blockade of university road for public transport.
School going children and ladies who had to attend their classes and duties were also get late and most of the people hired taxies vehicles to reached their destination. The traffic police had not earlier informed the transporters to use alternate routs of Kohat and ring road due which some vehicle had to return in the middle, which were causing further blockade of other roads.  The commoner hold responsible the traffic authorities for not prior information regarding blockade of any road due to the arrival of high profile personalities.
The VVIP movement has badly affecting the general masses as 30 minutes before the arrival of high profile person, the roads being blocked to provide safe and speedy passage to these dignitaries.
It is to mention here that due to the lack of poor performance of traffic authorities, most of the traffic planes remained unsuccessful in Peshawar. A plane, which was introduced in Peshawar on the modal of motorway police, a modal traffic police plane had been initiated for Hayatabad, Town, and Saddar area but the plane was miserably failed due to lack of seriousness of the traffic authorities.
Special vehicles and special bikes has been given to the traffic wardens and rider squads but these vehicle turned to scrape in the park venue of police lines.
Moreover the frequent transfer of SSP traffics in Peshawar also affecting traffic planes as few months back former SSP traffic Mian Saeed was serious enough to control the bad plight of traffic in Peshawar but due to political intervention he was transferred from the traffic department.
