KARACHI  - Shahzeb Khan’s father, DSP Aurangzeb has denied allegations of a deal between him and the culprits’ family for withdrawing cases in exchange of Rs 250 Million.

A local news publisher claimed that Shahzeb’s father has made a deal with the Talpurs and Jatoi family to withdraw all cases against Shahrukh and Siraj, in exchange for Rs 250 Million.

Speaking to a private TV channel, Shahzeb’s father, DSP Aurangzeb Khan denied all allegations of such nature. He dismissed the reports as fake, saying “Money is just pieces of paper and are of no value to me anymore and never will be.”

He said that the powerful culprits were manipulating the media and trying to influence people’s opinion on Shahzeb’s case by creating a negative image of his son’s murder case.

He claimed that the movement of Justice for Shahzeb will not stop at any cost, and that the powerful culprits were using some sects of media to manipulate the case and create a negative image of the case.

DSP Aurangzeb is a part of the investigation team for Shahzeb’s murder and also one of the witnesses in his case.

On December 25, Shahzeb was killed allegedly by Shahrukh Jatoi near Mubarak Masjid in DHA over a petty argument. DSP Khan, who has been wearing black clothes since that day, said that his fight is not only for his son.

He noted, “My Shahzeb is gone but I want other youngsters to remain safe. Those in power think that their kids can get away with all sorts of crime because they have enough money to bribe anyone they want. I want to put an end to this.”
