MQM’s demand is like a movie sequel: Imran

KARACHI - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan said another NRO would be ready to facilitate Pervez Musharraf after both the NROs given to Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari.
Talking to newsmen at Karachi airport, he slammed the MQM’s demand of a separate province. He said Sindh 1 and Sindh 2 are like Indian movies Dhoom 1 and Dhoom 2.
“Bilawal Bhutto Zardari must know that politics could not be done on Twitter and he should be among the masses for this purpose,” he added.
Khan chaired the party’s core committee meeting in Karachi on Tuesday ahead of the preparations for the Local Bodies elections, distribution of party tickets and Sindh’s political development and other issues. Party’s General Secretary Jahangir Tareen, PTI Sindh president Nadir Akmal Laghari and other officials also attended the meeting.
After the meeting, he told the newsmen that PTI has decided to reach out to public instead of doing politics of elite. He further said money-makers had ruined the country’s economy as they came into power.
Khan said PTI was already struggling to get Nadra to verify votes in four out of eight constituencies. One man can cast 50 votes in Karachi, he said.
Taking on the federal and provincial governments, he said all the development work was being carried out in Lahore.
He said corrupt politicians were destroying the country and Pakistan’s survival depends on a system that guarantees justice for everyone, he said.
The PTI chief dispelled the question of division of Sindh, saying he does not want to get into it.
