ISLAMABAD - Star-studied ZTBL were in trouble against National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), as they finished the day two at 33-1 in their second innings in the President 's Trophy Grade-I (2013-2014) ninth round match at Diamond Ground on Tuesday. ZTBL required another 84 runs to avoid innings defeat. Earlier, NBP resumed their first innings at the overnight score of 102 for the loss of three wickets in 25 overs and were all out for 325 runs in 79.2 overs. Fawad Alam was unlucky not to complete a well deserving ton as he was out after scoring 91. Raza Hasan made 50, Kamran Akmal added 46 and M Nawaz 44. Thus NBP took a healthy 117-run first innings lead. Zohaib Khan took 3-55 while Imran Khan and Imran Nazir took two wickets each giving away 93 runs respectively.–Staff Reporter
