Fifty people were killed and various injured in eastern Bangladesh on Monday after two buses collided head on, police said.The accident happened after the driver of one bus, bound for the capital Dhaka, lost control and crashed into another bus travelling in the opposite direction, local police chief Abdur Rab told a news agency.He said one of the buses fell into a 20-foot-deep (six-metre) road side ditch.According to police, six of the persons killed in the accident, were identified as 38-year-old bus driver Narine, 35-year-old Salma, Nasir (42), Akbar Hussain (30), Alam (38) and Mannan (19).
