KUALA LUMPUR- Strongly condemning a series of explosions in Karachi on Monday, the Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani directed to put the security on high alert in all the four provinces. Talking to the Advisor for the Interior Ministry, Rehman Malik, on telephone the Prime Minister reiterated government's firm resolve to deal with such anti-state elements sternly to safeguard the lives of the people. He said these anti-state elements are bent upon destabilising the country through such inhuman acts, adding that all such elements were the enemies of the country and the religion of Islam. Prime Minister Gilani, who is in Malaysia to attend the 6th D-8 Summit, appealed the citizens of Karachi to remain clam and united to frustrate the designs of the anti-state elements.
