LAHORE- PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif has condemned Karachi blasts, expressing deep sympathies with the bereaved families. A statement, issued from London on Monday by Nawaz Sharif's media coordinator Asif Kirmani, said that Nawaz Sharif was shocked to listen the news of blasts in Karachi, and directed PML-N workers in the City to take part in relief measures. Nawaz expressed his great sorrow over the loss of precious lives in a string of blasts, and sympathised with affected families. He also prayed for early recovery of those injured in the incident. Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif strongly denounced the bomb blasts. He said no amount of condemnation is enough to deplore such brutal acts of terrorism which caused loss of life and property. He prayed for the early recovery of the injured. Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister issued instructions to IG Police to beef up security arrangements in the province in view of the activities of terrorists. He directed that all regional police officers and district police officers be instructed to intensify security measures in the markets and busy places and evolve an effective security plan with the consultation of traders and elected representatives in the interest of safety of life and property of the citizens.  He also made an appeal to the people to remain watchful so as to foil the nefarious designs of saboteurs.
