RAJANPUR
A major terror bid was foiled as a five-kg planted on railways track between Rajanpur and Fazilpur was defused here on Monday.
According to railway authorities, the explosive device was found during maintenance work on a railway track at a toll plaza between Rajanpur and Fazilpur.
Karachi-bound Khushaal Khan Khattak Express was stopped at Jampur after the bomb threat.
Bomb Disposal Squad said that the five-kg bomb was trekked down in the ground and was connected via remote control. The bomb was defused immediately.
