Imran Khan’s address to the highly volatile youth at Bhawalpur was full of anger. In the backdrop of our present political and security situation, especially in the post Model Town scenario, this is exactly what is not required. Though it is the opposition’s right to protest against the policies of the government, there is a time and a place for everything. The message seems to be a call to the youth to crush everything that comes in their way if their demands are not met. He sounds more like an invader and less like a politician willing to reform the country. Since Imran Khan has a reasonable number of followers in the country, I suggest that he should set a low key tone to avoid any untoward incident.
