PTI to ‘welcome’ Musharraf: Sarwar

PTI leader and former Punjab governor Ch Muhammad Sarwar has said that the PTI could accept former president Gen (r) Pervaiz Musharraf in the party after the proper consultation with the party bigwigs if the latter wants to join it.
He stated this while talking to the party workers and newsmen at Shakargarh here. He said that there would be ‘yes’ to Musharraf by PTI if he wanted to join it.
He assured the party workers that the PTI would allot the party tickets to the aspiring candidates after consultation with the party workers as well. He said that only PTI Chief Imran Khan was the ray of hope for the oppressed, depressed and energy and political crisis-beaten people.
Shakargarh-based PPP leader and former federal minister Ch Tariq Anees joined the PTI along with his hundreds of the companions. He pledged to make efforts to make Shakargarh-Narowal stronghold of the PTI.
Earlier, addressing a public meeting at the outhouse of Anees, he said that the incumbent rulers had lost their political goodwill and trust of the people. He said that there was no writ of the government in the country.
He said that the rulers were plundering the national exchequer in the name of so-called development. Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Mian Mehmoodul Rasheed, PTI Narowal District Organiser Muhammad Wakeel Khan and Hafiz Rizwan Masood were also present.
GANGS BUSTED: Pasrur police have busted two inter-district gangs of dacoits and arrested nine dangerous members of these gangs, said DSP Asad Ishaq.
He said that the police smashed Imran alias Mani Dacoit Gang and Hassan alias Hassu Gang. It arrested accused Irfan alias Fani, Maulavi Rasheed alias Kaka, ringleader Imran alias Mani and Umair, he said.
He noted that these accused had committed 46 dacoities, robberies, kidnappings for ransom and other heinous nature crimes. He added that police had arrested three accused Sadaqat, Hamza and Afzal of Hassan alias Hassu Gang wanted in 15 cases. Police also recovered illicit weapons, two snatched motorcycles and valuables worth lakhs of rupees from them, he concluded.

Daska police have arrested a notorious proclaimed offender bearing Rs 200,000 head money announced by the Punjab government.
A special team led by SHO Rana Zulfiqar Ahmedraided there at a hotel in Karachi and arrested Amjad alias Amjada Dogar who had been proclaimed offender for the eight consecutive years. The accused was wanted by the Daska, Motra, Uggoki and Sialkot police in more than two dozens of cases of murder, dacoity, robbery and kidnapping for ransom.
