Pakistan tennis star Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi has reached Wimbledon’s Mixed Doubles semifinals along with his partner Yaroslava Shvedova of Kazakhastan.

The pair defeated the Poland’s Marcin Matkowski and Kataraina Srebotnik of Slovenia in the quarterfinal.

Aisam and Shvedova beat their opponents with score of 6-3, 3-6 and 7-5 to book a place in the final four.

The duo will face Robert Farah of Colombia and Anna-Lena Groenefeld of Germany in the semifinal later tonight. The other Mixed Doubles semifinal is between Oliver Marach-Jelena Ostapenko and Juan Sebastian Cabal-Mariana Duque. Shvedova will also be playing the Ladies’ doubles semifinal with Timea Babos.
