KARACHI (PPI) - Famous singer Rahim Shah was robbed of his cash and other belongings by two unidentified muggers in the limits of Model Colony police station on Saturday morning. A duty officer at police station said Rahim Shah after visiting his brother's house in Keamari was going alone in his car to his house situated in Phase-1, Malir Cantonement. At 2:40am, two unknown armed motorcyclists intercepted him at gunpoint at Tank More on Cantonement Road. They deprived him of Rs 585,000 cash, mobile phone and other belongings and decamped. Aggrieved singer, later, arrived at Model Colony police station, and told police the registration number of motorcycle of robbers was MLN-6770. Police lodged an FIR under section 392/34 of the Pakistan Panel Code against unknown bandits. The officer said further investigation was underway.
