Saudi Arab's Shah Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz positively hinted at giving Pakistan's request of supply of petroleum products on concession rates due consideration, which later prompted the petroleum ministers of both the countries discussing the details.  People's Party Co-Chairman, Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani had requested for petroleum products' supply on reasonable rates in their meeting with Shah Abdullah in a bid to mellow down the negative impacts of the record price-hikes in the international oil market on Pakistan. Following the meeting of Pakistan leadership with Shah Abdullah, Foreign Minister, Shah Mahmood Quraishi, who holds the petroleum portfolio also, held detailed discussions with the Saudi Arab petroleum minister, which centered around the details of the facility that related to supply of petroleum to Pakistan.
