SAHIWAL - The rulers should get stopped drone attacks because these attacks were against the national sovereignty and indignity. If the incumbent government fails to protect and safeguard the tribal areas and control the price hike, the masses will turn the table on the rulers. Ch Sultan Mehmood said this while addressing a gathering during Pakistan Bachao rally, taken out under the auspices of civil society here on Tuesday. He said that the present rulers were hell bent on the destruction of the country. Ch Sultan further said that no relief was provided to the poor in the federal budget. He said that if incumbent government failed to stop the US intervention and worst loadshedding, then civil society would launch a movement in the regard against the government. He further said that drone attacks, unscheduled loadsheding and unemployment created panic among the masses. He said that the country was facing various crises because of turmoil prevailing in the country because every person has been engulfed in his personal affairs. The participants of the rally were holding placards with slogans against drone attacks, inflation and unemployment. The rally started from Baldia Hall and marched through Saddar Chowk, Depalpur Bazaar, Pakpattan Bazaar and high street and ended at Baldia Ground. The rally was led by Ch Sultan Mehmood, Ziaur Rehman Khan, Syed Rizwan Shah, Shakeel Khan Niazi, Anjuman-e-Arhtian President Haji Muhammad Saleem, founding SCCI President Ch Safdar Rashid. A large number of people belonging to all walk of life participated in the rally.
