BAHAWALPUR - Corps Commander Lt-Gen Muhammad Haroon Aslam witnessed troops engaged in summer collective training near Khairpur Tamewali Ranges on Tuesday. On arrival, he was briefed about the scope and conduct modalities of these exercises. Later on, he witnessed launching of bridge by Army Engineers which is capable of ferrying across heavy vehicles including tanks and Armoured Personnel Carriers. He also attended a sniper firing competition being conducted in Cholistan Desert. The Corps Commander met the troops engaged in the exercise and commended their motivation, morale and professional competence. He also dilated upon the importance of enhanced cooperation between fighting and supporting arms.
