LAHORE The City filling stations continued to witness scarcity of fuel on the second consecutive day on Tuesday, enhancing miseries of motorists, especially the motorcyclists. Over half of the filling stations remained closed due to unavailability of fuel while those functioning were not seen giving quantity demanded by the motorists. Long queues of motorcyclists were witnessed at these few filling stations and the owners were only giving few litres instead of fulfilling the demand of filling the tank to the capacity. On the other side, CNG day off adding the woes of the daily commuters and the people have to rush from one site to another for getting fuel. Unavailability of petrol created problems forvehicle user on second day. Meanwhile, taking notice of the shortage in supply of petrol at the retail outlets of the oil marketing companies, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority issued show cause notices to the companies.
