LAHORE The family members of the Sialkot lynching victims on Tuesday criticized the investigation conducted by the joint investigation team headed by DIG Mushtaq Sukhera, alleging the police had adopted a biased attitude just to save the accused policemen. They also urged the Chief Justice of Pakistan and Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to remove the hurdles and ensure speedy trial of the case. Addressing a press conference here at the Lahore Press Club on Tuesday, Muhammad Sajjad, father of the deceased Mughees and Muneeb, accompanied by other family members and Dr Shakeel Thakar (counsel) alleged that the accused policemen and the respondents were using delaying tactics.
