ISLAMABAD - Pakistan People’s Party chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said yesterday that the ruling Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf had no future. The PPP chief said that the PTI may not complete its present term but was hoping for another term. “The PTI has no future. They have completely failed to deliver,” he said, commenting on the political situation.

He said that ever since arrival of the current government, tragedies involving trains have been taking place frequently and the government’s ministers are doing politics over them.

He demanded an immediate inquiry into the recent Ghotki train accident and for its report to be made available as soon as possible. “The situation is such that PM Iman Khan had to take to Twitter to announce that the railway minister would visit the scene of the tragedy. PM Khan himself has demanded resignation from the railway minister in the past over train accidents,” he said.

Bilawal said the Divisional Superintendent Railway in his letter had identified 30 such areas where the train tracks were deteriorating, and the place where the tragedy occurred was among them.

We have to get rid of experiments like Imran Khan if we want to go in right direction

He said Imran Khan wanting another term to solve problems was joke with the country and now masses will not be deceived by false claims of economic progress.

Bilawal said that due to ‘failed policies’ of the government, the middle class of the country was also now nearing poverty line. “We have to get rid of experiments like Imran Khan if we want the country’s economy to go in the right direction,” he added.

Meanwhile yesterday, Bilawal appointed new office-bearers for the Khyber Pakhtunkhaw province yesterday as part of the reorganisation.
