Senior Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani has said that Indian troops are using the Kashmiri women as a weapon of war in occupied Kashmir and committing serious crimes against them with impunity. Talking to Kashmir Media Service in connection with International Women Day, Syed Ali Gilani demanded of the international human rights organisations to take cognisance of the stepped up women rights violations in the occupied territory. He also urged the world community to impress upon India to resolve the Kashmir dispute amicably through dialogue process according to the aspirations of the Kashmiri people. Demanding an immediate release of all the pro-freedom leaders and activists, languishing in different jails of the occupied territory, he condemned the continued illegal detention of Hurriyet leaders including Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai, Masarrat Alam Butt, Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah, Ghulam Nabi Sumji and others.
