KATY Perry is to lend her voice to the upcoming Smurfs movie. The singer - whos currently engaged to British comedian Russell Brand - will reportedly take on the role of Smurfette. British actor Alan Cumming and How I Met Your Mother star Neil Patrick Harris are also linked to the project, a mixture of live-action and animation. Raja Gosnell will reportedly direct the film, set for release in 2011. The Smurfs - known for their blue skin, white hats and mushroom houses - were the stars of a popular 1980s TV series. Perry recently revealed she sometimes feels like a big strawberry with a face on it.
