ISLAMABAD (Online) - Strongly lambasting scanning of Pakistanis in US, Secretary General of PML-Q Mushahid Hussain on Sunday again made it clear that scanning Pakistanis abroad was a sheer violation of human rights and ethics and urged President Zardari to raise the issue with his US counterpart Barack Obama immediately. While talking to a private TV, Mushahid Hussain Syed said that government must not repeat past follies and move forward as enough time was wasted. They totally rejected special screening of Pakistani travellers at US airports. They said Pakistan had conveyed its reservations to American authorities several times but in vain. They described the special security measures as a violation of the universal human rights. They called for taking up the matter at international forums, adding that Pakistan should make it clear to the US that if it continued to humiliate Pakistanis US nationals would be treated in the same manner.
