TTP behind Lahore bombing, alleges Rehman

Interior Minister Rehman Malik has alleged that banned outfit Tehreek-i-Taliban is behind the Lahore suicide attack that targeted office of an intelligence office today. Talking to media in Islamabad, Rehman said that the terrorists were resorting to guerrilla tactics, and noted that such elements were not Muslims. He said the anti-Pakistan elements were trying to destabilize the country, and alleged India of shifting arms to Pakistan via Afghanistan. He maintained that agencies were on high alert while police is also on its toes to avert such untoward activities. He said that he has sought report from IG Punjab in this regard. Rehman told the newsmen that India made arms have been seized from FATA. He warned India, saying that it should behave if it wanted peace in the region. He said Pakistan would communicate its reservations to India whenever the talks held.
