FAISALABAD - Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif will visit the city here on Saturday (tomorrow).
According to a spokesman of the city district government, the Punjab CM was scheduled to visit Faisalabad on March 2, but due to certain reasons the visit was postponed.
The chief minister will inaugurate Medical College on Susan Road adjacent to Social Security Hospital. He will also visit the under construction site of Abdullahpur Underpass where he would be briefed about the pace of development work.
Later, the CM will also address a meeting at Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Auditorium of Faisalabad Arts Council where PML-N leaders and area notables will participate. The spokesman said that the CM would also visit the new campus of Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF) and lay foundation stone for its construction besides distributing laptops and solar lamps among the students and proprietary letters among the residents of Katchi Abadies. The Punjab CM is also expected to make announcement for the establishment of LHC bench at Faisalabad, the spokesman said and added that a rousing reception would be accorded to CM.
