PESHAWAR - Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Amir Haider Khan Hoti hosted a luncheon in the honour of the entire staff of the Chief Minister Secretariat at CM House Peshawar on Thursday.

Besides personal staff of the CM, all officers and officials of CM Secretariat, staff of CM House, Security personnels and others attended the luncheon.

Addressing a special function held on the occasion, the chief minister acknowledged the better performance of the secretariat staff and expressed his gratitude for their full cooperation during the five years of his chief minister ship.

He said that his five-year successful journey as chief executive of the province would not have been possible without the cooperation of the secretariat staff.

The chief minister mentioned the names of all those staff of the secretariat who had passed away during the last five years and prayed for the eternal peace of their souls. Former officers of the chief minister’s personal staff including Ex-principal secretary Tariq Jamil, former PSOs Kamran Rehman and Zaka Ullah Khattak, former CSOs Sher Akbar, Ejaz Khan and Nisar Tanooli also attended the function. All the class-IV employees of CM House presented a bouquet to the chief minister.

Earlier, addressing the function the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Waqar Ul Hassan, on behalf of the secretariat staff, thanked the chief minister for hosting the luncheon and said that the chief minister had honoured the secretariat staff for the first time in the history of the province by hosting a luncheon and such a good tradition has never been witnessed in the past.

He hoped the future chief ministers would also continue the same tradition. The provincial secretary, on behalf of the entire staff, presented a gift to the chief minister.
