WARBORTAN - Punjab Chief Minister’s Ujala Programme for students will enlighten our brains, said students of Government Model High School Warburton City while receiving solar lamps at a ceremony held here the other day.
About 50 students of the school from class 10th, who had obtained more than 60 percent marks in 9th Class exam, received solar lamps, which they said, would help them beat the blackouts during their studies. Expressing contentment over the lamps distribution, students, parents and teachers termed the move a revolutionary step of the Punjab CM towards creation of a new Pakistan.
They said that the incredible scheme of Khadm-e-Alla reflected his sincere efforts for promotion of education and uplift the human capital in the province.
Parents also thanked Senior Headmaster Javed Ashraf Shooka and teachers including, Ghulam Rasul, Munir Ahmad Shahid, Malik Liaqat Ali, Iqbal Arif Sandhrana, Zafar Iqbal, Muhammad Ansar, Khuram Latif, Asif Nadeem, Zahoor Elahi Awais, Muhammad Imran, Tariq Mehmood, Muhammad Ashraf, Abdul Rehman and Javed Iqbal for playing vital role in enabling their children receive the reward.
Chief Minister’s Ujala Programm is based on merit and those students who meet the required criterion get solar lamp kit.
