Lahore  - MQM will organise a conference in the provincial capital tomorrow (Sunday) in an effort to educate the masses about the ulterior motives of the elements which are exploiting the innocent masses in the name of religion, says Dr Farooq Sattar, senior MQM leader.

He said this while addressing participants of ‘Meet the Press’ at Lahore Press Club on Friday along with other party leaders.

Farooq claimed there were parts of the country now in the complete control of the terrorists and no-go areas for the government functionaries.

He said the MQM would not let any group to impose their brand of Islam by force, as Islam spread across the world through peaceful message and not violence.

The MQM leader said there was a state within state, as some elements were using the name of religion to advance their personal agendas.

He said the MQM wants to unmask the dual standards of the policy-makers and rulers through its sufia conference which desires peace with the elements who were killing innocent people.
