Indian govt announces to issue visa to 250 Pakistanis for T20 world cup

New Delhi: The Indian government has announced to issue visas 250 Pakistan fans for witnessing T20 world cup 2016 to be held in India.

According to Indian media, five days visas would be issued to Pakistani cricket fans to visit India for watching T20 World Cup 2016 matches.

A senior official of Indian Interior ministry said that the visas applicants will have to give details of their match ticket, bus ticket, and airline or train return tickets and hotel stay.

He further said that the visas figure could be increased if Pakistan team qualifies for the semi-final and final rounds.

The rivals Pakistan and India teams would be going to play important match on March 19 in Dharamsala.

The state-government has refused to provide security for important match . However, Pakistan security team has arrived in Dharamsala for reviewing the security situation.
