At least five terrorists were killed in encounter with Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in Isplinji area of Mastung on Sunday night.

According to details, the CTD personnel conducted an operation in Isplinji area of Mastung in Balochistan province on intelligence report during which terrorists hiding in a house opened fire.

The CTD personnel returned the fire due to which five terrorists were killed while their accomplices managed to escape from the scene taking advantage of the darkness.

According to CTD spokesperson, the dead terrorists have been identified as Samiullah, Jamil Ahmed, Shah Nazar, Arif Marri and Yusuf Marri and were involved in several cases of terrorism.

The spokesperson further informed that three kalashnikovs, 10 kilograms of explosive material and other weapons were also recovered from the hideout of the terrorists.
