DERA GHAZI KHAN - Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Dost Muhammad Khan Khosa has said that Punjab govt has decided to start the next academic session from April 1 and Matriculation, Intermediate exams would be conducted in March and April like the previous practice. He was talking to the lawyers during his visit to their chambers and offices. The Chief Minister mixed up with the lawyers and issued on the spot orders about their individual problems. He also met a large number of lawyers individually and asked them about their problems. Khosa visited block No. 9 on late Monday night without protocol while the people were surprised to see the Chief Minister amongst them. Large number of residents gathered and chanted slogans 'Sardar Dost Muhammad Khan Khosa Zindabad'. Later the CM visited Divisional Public School and college where Principal Salah-ul-Din Leghari briefed him. Earlier, addressing the staffers at Police Public School, he said that the steps are being taken for the uniform education system in the province and all the children would be provided equal opportunities for the standard education without discrimination. He said that the importance of education can never be ignored in the development of the society and the country. Academic coordinator Farhat Manzoor briefed the CM about the school. DIG range police Dera Ghazi Khan told the CM during the briefing that the school has been established under welfare project and the education is being imparted without profit on the low cost/expenditure to the children of police officers, officials and the other people.
