ISLAMABAD (APP) - The Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) has started registration of participants for the International Conference, The Challenges in implementing competition law in developing countries in Lahore on 11-12 May 2010. The conference is relevant to the industry representatives, professionals, academicians, officials of the government departments and ministries, says a statement issued by the Commission here on Friday. An online registration form has been uploaded on the Commissions website, The two-day conference will be held in three technical sessions including independence of competition agencies, determinants of an effective competition regime, and importance of competition advocacy in the developing countries. International experts on competition shall address the technical sessions. The conference is expected to generate useful debate on the state of competition in the developing countries.
