LAHORE (PR) - Wapda workers have demanded that President and PM should intervene to promulgate new legislation on industrial relations in order to protect and defend the fundamental rights of workers. Ch. Talib Nawaz, President and Khurshid Ahmad, General Secretary. Pakistan Workers Federation has urged the Government to take immediate measures to redress the situation otherwise the workers would he compelled to evolve future course of action since they are already facing hardships due to high price hike. They have threatened that in case the government failed to fulfill obligations, the workers will launch countrywide protests.
