OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE A 60-year-old unidentified woman died mysteriously near Thokar Niaz Baig Chowk in Hanjerwal police area on Saturday. The police said some witnesses phoned the police and informed of an unconscious woman lying near the chowk. The woman was shifted to a hospital where she breathed her last. The police made numerous announcements in nearby mosques but none of the citizens claimed to own the body, which was later removed to the city morgue for autopsy. Meanwhile, two bodies including a 22-year-old youth sacked packed was found from different parts of the City on Saturday. As per details, a 22-year-old unidentified youth, yet to be identified, was found murdered from BRB Canal, Burki police precincts. Police investigators, associated with this case, said someone might be his rival killed him by hitting with a metallic rod in his head. The apparent evidences show the youth was killed, packed in sack and then the body was thrown into the BRB Canal, they added. Meanwhile, a 60-year-man Ghulam Rasool commonly known as Gama died mysteriously in a home located at Shaheen Town in Sherakot police area on the same day. He had been living separate from his family in a home since long. An eyewitness said a friend of Gama approached his home on Saturday evening and knocked the door but none of the family opened it. In the meantime, police concerned were phoned, which arrived within no time. The door was broken in presence of a few police officers and the body of Gama was found from a room, he added. Later, the body was handed over to the bereaved family after police completed necessary medico-legal formalities.
