ISLAMABAD (Online) - Federal Minister Riaz Hussain Pirzada from PML-Q has quit ministry for minorities affairs saying he does not want to remain minister only for two months. My ministry will be devolved to provinces on July 1 under 18th Amendment, therefore I dont want to stay minister for two months. I have no conflict with the government either, he said in an exclusive talk with Online on Saturday. Pirzada told he had not resigned from the office of federal minister. Resignation is in my pocket and I will tender it on the floor of house, he stated. Pirzada said he had conveyed his reservations to the party leadership and returned all the facilities including office and vehicle. However, no guards were provided to him for security, he said. On the other hand State Minister for Health Akram Masih Gil said Riaz Pirzada had quit ministry for minorities affairs and also returned his vehicle. Chaudhry Shujaat has told me that Pirzada will be given some other ministry, he revealed.
