LAHORE (APP) - Chlorine tablets, manufactured by Pakistan Council for Science and Industrial Research (PCSIR) to clean contaminated water, will be available in market in the last week of the current month. PCSIR Regional Director Engineer Zamir Ahmed Soomro told APP here on Saturday the cost of a tablet was just Rs 2 and one tablet was enough for five litre water while a pack of 30 tablets would be available for Rs 75, enough for one-month needs of an average family. The imported tablet is available for Rs.5, he added.
