PM replaces OGDCL MD

islamabad - The caretaker government has appointed Riaz Ahmad Khan as new managing director of Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL). Khan took charge on Tuesday.
Following removal of Masood Siddiqui over different corruption charges, the interim government has given acting charge of OGDCL to Executive Director (ED) OGDCL Riaz Ahmad Khan. Khan is a Petroleum Engineer with over 30 years diversified experience in various disciplines of petroleum engineering in production operations and management, production forecasts, production optimisation, surface facilities, oil and gas field development and gas conditioning/processing.  Official sources in petroleum ministry said that the government has made Riaz Ahmad Khan as new top man of the country’s largest oil and gas explorer while Khan has assumed new charge. They said caretaker Prime Minister Mir Hazar Khan Khoso had approved petroleum ministry’s summary pertaining the removal of Masood Siddiqui on Monday.
