Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has said that he will blow the wickets of Nawaz Sharif, Zardari and Maulana Fazlur Rehman altogether on May 11.
Addressing a big election rally at Divisional Sports Ground the other day, he hurled a warning to Maulana Fazlur Rehman, saying both Nawaz Sharif and Zardari were already in his grip while now the time had come to capture Maulana. He lashed out at Nawaz Sharif and said that he put Zardari in jail twice, then helped him in presidential election and extended all out support over the past five years. “And now he (Sharifs) say that giving vote to PTI is tantamount to giving vote to PPPP,” he maintained. He said that he had been waiting for upcoming May 11 for the last 17 years. He said that he lodged protest in Islamabad on election of Zardari as president while on the other hand Mian Nawaz Sharif enjoyed breakfast with Zardari. “Now Imran Khan is out to hunt down the lion,” he added.
Referring to Maulana Fazl, he said that the Jews need not hatch any conspiracy in presence of leaders like Maulana. “He must feel ashamed while claiming that “I am being supported by the Qadianis.” With the grace of Allah, I am a Muslim and I have a faith that anyone who doesn’t believe that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is the last prophet is not a Muslim,” he declared. He said that the time of those doing politics in the name of Islam had gone.
Commenting on Mian Nawaz Sharif’s announcements regarding projects like bullet train and motorways, he said that Mian Nawaz Sharif made just tall claims while the PTI would launch these projects after coming into power. “I want to tell you that we’ll assemble all Pakistanis into one nation. Once the nation is formed, all of these projects will automatically be materialized,” he added. He said that the PTI would introduce the system of justice, overhaul the system of katchery and thana and introduce such a local government system that would offer development justice to the people at their doorsteps.
He declared that the PTI would increase education budget by five times and improve the quality of education in state-run institutions. Recalling 1970 era, he said that the residents of East Pakistan were subjected to injustice as a result of which Bangla Desh took birth. “If Bangla Desh had been a part of Pakistan, how strong we would have been today,” he regretted. He said that the residents of FATA and tribal areas were subjected to oppression but PTI would get them justice. He said that the PTI would get the country rid of American slavery. He said that he would not let Mian Nawaz Sharif take sixth turn.
