KARACHI  - Two women among five people were killed in various incidents here on Tuesday.

An 18-year-old girl was shot dead here in the remits of Shahrah-e-Noorjahan police station.

Police said that workers of a political party were engaged in hoisting party flags in Nusrat Bhutto Colony area when area security guard restrained party workers for hoisting flags and finally resorted to firing. As result, a passerby girl sustained bullet wounds. She was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where doctors pronounced her death.

An alleged criminal was shot dead in the remits of Bilal Colony police station. Police said that a motorcyclist was shot dead at Sector 5/F, New Karachi by unknown gunmen. Police shifted the body to morgue for identification after autopsy.   A man killed in the remits of Manghopir police station. Police said that gunmen riding a motorbike shot dead Muhammad Adnan, 30, at Pukhtoonabad. He was a pickup driver. Police shifted the body to hospital. The body was handed over to the family while the motive of murder has yet to be ascertained.

One person was killed while another wounded in a robbery bid within the remits of Khawaja Ajmair Nagri police station.

Police said that Azizuddin and his friend Jawaid withdrawn cash from a bank and were going to an estate agency office located in New Karachi area where some gunmen riding a motorbike intercepted them and opened fire over resistance. The culprits managed to flee while the victims were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where doctors pronounced the death of Aziz while admitted Jawaid with critical wounds.

Moreover, police found tortured body of a woman from the remits of Shahrah-e-Faisal police limits. Police shifted the body to morgue for identification after autopsy.
