Effort on to revamp Radio Pakistan

LAHORE - Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation Director General Samina Pervaiz has said that country’s largest radio network, Radio Pakistan, is being upgraded according to the wishes of the traditional and modem day radio listeners. She was speaking at a reception hosted in her honour by Packages limited. She disclosed that (PBC) multiple purpose programs are still most popular in Pakistan. “They are quoted and suggested as reference, we are engaging the established broadcasters of considerable repute and stature to our network programs, in this connection world fame broadcaster and, one of the icons of Radio Zia Mohyudin has been requested to host programs, over radio Pakistan national network,” she added.  Samina mentioned Radio Pakistan’s historical role and contribution in promoting Cricket by broadcasting high standard cricket commentary by legendry Jamshed Marker, Qmer Qureshi and Jftikhar Ahmed from all parts of world.
Samina said she is revamping the sales department and encouraging the dedicated and honest employees.”We as institutions have great respect for Packages Limited who has always extended full cooperation to Radio Pakistan,” she held.
