LAHORE - The Department of Film & TV in collaboration with National College of Arts presents ‘The Pakistan Four’ directed and produced by filmmaker Shehzad Hameed Ahmad which will be screened at Shakir Ali Auditorium of  NCA today, The screening would be followed by a question answer session.  This explosive documentary deals with the subject of gender stereotypes and women empowerment. It charts the journey of 4 path-breaking Muslim women in the United States: Pakistan 's first female saber fencer, the country's first international female weightlifter, the first international female chef to win Chopped at the Food Network and the first standup comedian.
Filmed in Portland, Chicago, Orlando, Atlanta, New York City and Washington DC, the four narratives run in parallel, building up to one major event in each of their lives, with all four embodying the same goal in mind - to redefine what it means to be a Pakistani Muslim female.
Twenty-eight years old Shehzad Hameed Ahmad is a Pakistani broadcast journalist and a documentary filmmaker who is currently based in Islamabad, Pakistan . After launching his career as reporter/producer with Pakistan 's first English language news channel, Dawn News TV in Karachi, Shehzad went on to graduate from New York University's Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute in 2013 with a concentration in News and Documentary Filmmaking. He is a recipient of the Fulbright scholarship – 2012 to 2014.
