MULTAN: The intermediate annual examinations being held under the auspices of Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Multan, begun amid tight security here on Saturday. The BISE Multan sources said that a total of 115,000 candidates are taking part in Intermediate Annual Examinations 2016, out of which 56,467 would take part-1 and 58m578 part-11. The part-11 examination has begun while the part-1 papers will start from May 24. Meanwhile, the district administration has enforced Section 144 around all examination centres and the chairmen of all BISEs in Punjab are given the powers of First Class Magistrate.–Staff Reporter
