President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Sunday strongly condemned the suicide attack in Matni, Peshawar and death of Union Nazim. The two leaders termed the attack that killed the UC Nazim Aydze Abdul Malik as barbaric and said the government will continue efforts to wipe out extremists and terrorists from the country. In separate messages the two leaders expressed their resolve not to be deterred by acts of violence. The President sought a report into the incident while the Prime Minister ordered an enquiry into the apparent suicide attack at the weekly livestock market. The two leaders expressed deep sorrow over those who lost their lives and prayed Allah Almighty to shower his blessings on the departed souls. They also directed best possible medical treatment for the injured.
