ISLAMABAD - The city police arrested seven accused involved in selling of liquor and weapons and recovered liquor and weapons from their possession. A police spokesman said that Islamabad Police arrested seven accused involved in selling liquor and police recovered 11 bottles of liquor and five illegal pistols along with 31 cartridges from them. According to details, Shahzad Town police arrested three accused Muhammad Farooq, Jarg Massih and Ishfaiq Massiah and recovered 11 bottles of liquor and one 30 bore pistols along with three cartridges from their custody. Similarly, Tariq Mehmood, ASI, of Shalimar police during naka duty arrested one accused Muhammad Abbas and recovered one 30 bore 'mozer along with six cartridges from him. Whereas, Sub Inspector Abdul Rehman during checking arrested accused Yasir Arfat and recovered one 30 bore pistol along with five cartridges from him. Meanwhile, Shahzad Town police arrested one accuse namely Janit Gul and recovered one 30 bore pistol along with 13 cartridges from him. Muhammad Hanif, ASI of Koral police station arrested one accused Manzar Abbas and recovered one 30 bore pistols along five cartridges from him. Cases have been registered against the accused and further investigation is under way.
