QUETTA - Some unknown armed men gunned down a person, suspected to be working for the agencies, in District Awaran on Saturday. According to reports, Abdul Ghafoor received multiple wounds and died on the spot after assailants targeted him with automatic weapons. The attackers managed to escape from the scene after committing the crime. The body has been shifted to a local hospital for autopsy. Sources say apparently the incident is a part of the target-killing spree, however, investigation is underway. Deceased is stated to be a resident of Punjab. Meanwhile, a spokesman of Baloch Liberation Front Basham Baloch has claimed responsibility of the killing, saying Ghafoor was spying for agencies.
