RAWALPINDI  - Punjab Education Department is mulling over the formation of a new system, named “Office of Education Standard” for the monitoring of schools of the province.

According to sources, the education department received many complaints from teachers of the province against the monitoring teams, consisting of retired army officials, of harassing the teachers, making wrong reports based on grudges and unnecessary interfering. Therefore, the department started to think over carving out the new monitoring system.

According to the proposed system, monitoring teams containing heads of schools would be made, which would prepare their report after three-day visit of a school. The officials of the education department are proposing the new system to introduce the monitoring system of Britain.
