Pakistan is a developing country and like all other developing countries it faces many social problems. The first social problem that Pakistan faces is poverty which is one of the biggest social problems. About 70 percent of the population lives in villages. According to an analysis poverty has roughly increased from 30 percent to 40percent, as most of the population is earning their livelihood below the poverty line.
The second major problem is that of over population. Massive increase in population has almost eaten into the resources and job opportunities and other daily life facilities.
For the overall progress of a nation, economic prosperity serves as a backbone. When citizens of a country are free from worries of earning, a livelihood to spent their lives, they will focus on education and will develop technologies that make life easy. Poor economic condition is the root cause of many problems that exist in a society.
The increase in energy crisis has further crippled the already suffering economy. It has almost jammed the industrial wheel of our homeland. Because of energy crises many industries have closed. Moreover, the tax system in Pakistan is not satisfactory. Tax evasion is common; the poor are paying taxes even on the purchase of a match box while the rich are reluctant to pay any tax.
Self improvement is the only thing that can help Pakistan in solving all these problems. We need to be honest, hardworking and most important we need to be patriotic. Every inhabitant should obey the laws and respect the laws of the country, only then we can change our conditions and can turn it into a better, happy and safe Pakistan.
