LAHORE - My Gym Gujrat won the 1st District Gujrat Men & Women Powerlifting Championship 2018 at Government Elementary School Gujrat, which was participated by 40 male and 10 female powerlifters. According to information made available here on Wednesday, besides Gym, Afzal Health Club secured second position and Lala Musa Health Club third. M Asim of My Gym won the strongest man title by lifting 595kg, M Kamran of Champion Gym Gujrat won the best powerlifter award and Ammara Shabbir of My Gym won the strongest women of Gujrat title by lifting 350kgs. Chief guest MPA Saleem Sarwar Joora, along with Gujrat Press Club President Raja Taimoor and Punjab Powerlifting Association secretary Akeel Javed Butt, distributed medals, certificates, trophies and cash prizes among the winners. –Staff Reporter
