Indonesian experts visit hospitals

LAHORE Indonesian medical experts led by Dr Rita held training seasons of doctors and nurses at various hospitals on Friday and informed them about the latest methods of treatment of the patients. They visited Jinnah, Children, Services and other hospitals and provided treatment to the dengue patients. Administration of hospitals informed the Indonesian experts about the treatment arrangements made for dengue patients. Talking to the newsmen, Dr Rita said that controlling dengue virus was not impossible. She termed the arrangements made by the Punjab government for eradication of this disease satisfactory and appealed to the citizens to adopt preventive measures so that the situation should not be that serious next year. She said that Chief Minister Punjab has taken steps in coordinated manner due to which dengue has been controlled to a large extent and now the number of patients has started decreasing gradually. Meanwhile, a group of Indonesian medical experts witnessed various phases of preparation of platelets. They visited various wards whereas another group held a meeting in the office of DG Health and proposed various steps for eradication of dengue virus.
