Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) President Naeem Anwar Qureshi stated this while addressing a meeting of local traders, industrialists and exporters here Friday. He said that it was natural that people of Sialkot remained very engaged for achieving the best in every field of life. To remain on the top, the industrialists ensured to upgrade, modify and remodel production process to maintain production standards of the developed economics, he added. Naeem Anwar Qureshi stated the century-old history of sporting goods and surgical industry of Sialkot had seen the industries developed to the highest international standards mainly due to business wisdom and natural sense of the entrepreneurs towards export, adding, other industrial sectors of the district were also following the trend. The products standards being of exceptional quality were meant for markets of developed economics not affordable even for domestic markets, which was under developed, he said. Naeem said that similarly, the industrialists and exporters had accepted the challenges of compliance to quality standard with extraordinary determination, which was proved by the fact majority of ISO certified companies in Pakistan belong to Sialkot. For smoother operations in the products and exports the exporters are ensuring compliance with environment and social standards and adoption to security measures as required by the valued foreign customers countries in quality and style.
